Located in the town centre, the town hall is surrounded by quaint, narrow streets. Originally built as a small wooden building, the town hall burned to the ground in a fire in the 16th Century. Rebuilt in Renaissance style, it burned down again in the 17th Century. The town hall was reconstructed a second time in the second half of the 19th Century and survives to this day.
