Founded in 2014, the Philharmonic was funded by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, and built together with the new building of Stanisław Moniuszko Elementary Music School. The Philharmonic has 240 seats and the school trains children and youth in playing folk instruments (kozioł, sierszenki, mazanki), and classical instruments.
