The Jewish cemetery in Trzciel is located on a hill overlooking Lake Żydowskie. Taking the area of 0,65 hectares, the cemetery is one of the best preserved Jewish cemeteries in the Lubusz Voivodeship, with 58 gravestones preserved, the oldest of which dates back to 1779. The cemetery was founded probably in 1745. Many of the gravestones were made using boulders, placed atop the hill and inscribed in Hebrew. At the entrance to the cemetery, you will find a display board with information in Polish and Hebrew, which was installed in 2014.
