The synagogue in Trzciel was built in 1745 to the south east of the town square. It was originally made of timber. Due to the poor condition of the building, it was demolished in 1874. One year later, a new synagogue was opened on the same site. The new temple was a brick building on a rectangular plan, sized 11.25 x 14.25 m, with a hipped roof. In the 1920s, the synagogue was sold to the town which converted it into a fire station, which functions to this day.
