The works on development of the hill were undertaken by Prince Carl Wilhelm von Schönaich-Carolath at the beginning of 1930s. His friendship with Prince Hermann von Pückler-Muskau, the creator of the unique park in Mużaków (German: Bad Muskau), contributed to the creation of a park and forest complex on the property in Siedlisko. One of its parts were a hill and vineyards. The Adelaide's Hill name was created in honour of the Prince Heinrich's wife - Adelheid.
