A historic face brick building with the date of construction on the front façade, the post office is one of the most characteristic public buildings from the pre-WWII period in town. After the Greater Poland uprising, Trzciel was a border town, divided between Poland and Germany. Most of the buildings erected in Trzciel at the end of the 19th Century by the Prussians are similar in character. The post office building bears a close resemblance to the current Town Council building.
