The Eugeniusz Paukszta Writers’ Retreat and Memorial Room is located in a forest lodge at Lake Liny. The memorial room of the novelist, who spent time and wrote there in the 1950s and 1960s, was opened in 2007 by the Public Library in Kargowa. An annual bagpipers’ festival is held in front of the forest lodge. There are rooms available for rent in the lodge.
