Most Sacred Heart of Jesus church in Gorzyca was built on the site of an earlier temple, which was probably made of stone. Built in 1736 as a timber-frame structure with brick walls on a rectangular plan, the church has a triangular chancel and a double-pitched roof which becomes hipped over the chancel. In the western section, there is a small steeple with a Baroque roof lantern.
