Places

The monument, located at the corner of Hallera and Szkolna streets, commemorates the local citizens who died fighting of Poland’s independence, the victims of Nazi occupation and the Communist regime. The centrepiece of the monument is an obelisk with relief sculptures, with memorial plaques on both sides.
