At the entrance to the parish cemetery, you can see an obelisk commemorating the site of the old monument of the Greater Poland Insurgents, which stood there until 1939 when it was torn down by the Germans after the outbreak of World War II. The obelisk was funded by the craft guilds of Opalenica and uncovered on 27 December 1988, on the 70th anniversary of the Greater Poland Uprising.
