The Nowiniec storage reservoir is located at the voivodeship road DW289 from Lubsko to Nowogród Bobrzański, around 1 km from Lubsko. Part of the reservoir serves as a fishing pond, and in the summer, there is a beach with sanitary facilities. In the winter, the reservoir is a popular destination for polar plunging enthusiasts.
