“Lech” - the first Polish motorcycle

A replica of the first Polish motorcycle can be seen in Piłsudskiego square. The production of “Lech” motorcycles was launched on 1 January 1929 in a factory Opalenica owned by Wacław Sawicki. The motorcycle was designed by engineer Władysław Zalewski. A second replica of the motorcycle can be found in the town square in Opalenica.
