The town hall was built in the years 1580–82 according to the design by Antonio Alberti. The building was destroyed in the fires of 1597, 1606 and 1615, undergoing a reconstruction after each fire. In the 19th Century, the interiors and the façade were remodelled in Baroque Revival style. During the renovation in the 1960s, the original form and style of the town hall were restored. Inside the building, you can see old metal doors with ornamental fittings, flower motifs and the town crest, the date 1582 and putto heads. The town hall is the seat of the authorities of the commune of Lubsko.
