Build in 1885 along with the railway from Gorzów to Zbąszynek, the railway station is located on the left bank of the Obra, in the town centre in Powstańców Wielkopolskich square. Until mid-1990s, the railway station was one of the largest and most important railway junctions in the region. In 2006, the ramp burned down in a fire, followed by the station building in 2007. The railway station has been rebuilt.
