Built in the years 1832–1833 by Count Tauentzien von Wittenberg, the church is a half-timbered building with plastered brick filling on a rectangular plan, with a tetragonal tower on its eastern part. The church has a double-pitched roof with a gable on the western façade. The steeple has a tent with a high roof lantern.
