Lake Niesłysz is the second largest water reservoir in Lubusz Voivodeship, taking 486.2 hectares, with average depth of 7.2 m. The lake basin was formed 12 thousand years ago during the Weichselian glaciation and its origns are polygenetic (as it is both a tunnel-valley lake and a moraine-dammed lake. The lake has class I water purity and is surrounded by dense woods which add to the aura of mystery of the place. There are numerous recreation centres, beaches and water equipment rentals at the lake. Niesłysz is the perfect destination for those who wish to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, but also for the adventurers.
