The monumental castle was built by the Knights Hospitaller in the second half of the 14th Century on an artificial hill. The castle combines Gothic and Baroque elements, and has a Gothic main hall with a cross-and-rib vault supported by a pillar. On the first floor, you can see the knights’ hall with an ornamental chimney. The castle is surrounded with a defensive wall with embrasures. The 24 m high castle tower offers a magnificent view of the area.
