“Nad Jeziorem Trześniowskim” Nature Reserve

The forest and landscape reserve is located on the western bank of Lake Trześniowskie. Established in 1965, it has an area of 47.73 hectares and protects the landscape and flora on the edge of the tunnel valley. The southern part is covered by an acidophilic beech forest. The northern part is dominated by mixed anthropogenic forest. In the park, on the side of the Castle Park, you will find a height named Sokola Góra (Falcon Height). There, you can find a number of plant species under partial protection, such as woodruff, common polypody, lily-of-the-valley and guelder rose. Local ivy is under strict protection. This area belongs to the Łagów-Sulęcin Landscape Park and is supervised by Dolina forest district and Świebodzin forest inspectorate.
