Margraviate Gate

Address Tadeusza Kościuszki 10, 66-220 Łagów
The Margraviate Gate was built in the 16th Century on the site of an older, probably wooden gate originating from the 14th Century. The gate was an element of the town’s defences and guarded the entrance into the Margraviate of Brandenburg. It also served as the town’s third line of defence, along with the castle tower and the defensive walls. Today, the Polish Angling Association has guest rooms in the gate.
