Kopice - cemetery

The village was founded in the 13th Century, but experienced its golden age in the 18th Century when it was significantly expanded and developed. A mill and a half-timbered church were built and a cemetery was established in the village which in that period had over 1,000 souls. World War II brought much pain and misery. The church and the roofs of many houses burned down. The village was eventually captured by the Soviet Red Army and handed over to Polish authorities. Tip The cache has been hidden in the cemetery, at the end of the lime and oak avenue.
