Founded in the 18th Century on a wetland as part of the so-called Frederician colonisation, Miłowo is a linear village. Originally, the village had several homesteads and a tavern. Miłowo has retained its linear character, a number of homesteads from the 19th and 20th Century have also survived. The most valuable historic building in Miłowo is the tavern, which is under the protection of the heritage conservation officer.
