Transfiguration of Jesus Church
The parish church of Transfiguration of Jesus in Drezdenko belongs to the Deanery of Drezdenko. With a 78 m high steeple, it is the highest temple in the Lubusz Voivodeship. The church was built at the beginning of the 20th Century on the side of an older 18th Century half-timbered Protestant church. It was decorated with patinated stained-glass windows. During World War I, the church bells, which came from the old temple, were replaced with new ones, founded from cast manganese steel. The bells were named “Love”, which weighs 2.294 tons, “Faith” weighing 1.49 tons, and “Hope” weighing 0.975 tons. In 1945, the temple was converted into Roman Catholic church of Transfiguration of Jesus.
