The plaque, placed on the frontal wall of St Nicholas of Myra church, was funded in 2005, on the 60th anniversary of the end of World War II, by the Association of the Children of War - Skwierzyna - Międzyrzecz Chapter. The inscription on the plaque says: “In memory of the children of war in Poland, victims of the 1939–1945 war, and those who have survived and shall never forget the atrocities of war - Association of the Children of War - Skwierzyna - Międzyrzecz Chapter. Skwierzyna 2005”.
