The bell ringing from the church steeple was founded around 1400. Stolen at the end of World War II with the intention of remelting it into arms, it was eventually retrieved in 2004.
The church building also originates from 1400 and, despite undergoing several renovations, has retained its original form and style.
The church is curiously located - as you drive into the town by the road from Krosno Odrzańskie, it looks like you are going straight at the temple. This type of location is typical for the local churches.
