The Mużakowski Park, also known under its historic name of Park Muskau, was established in the first half of the 19th Century. The park was invented and designed by the owner of the local estate, Duke Hermann von Pückler-Muskau. The park, one of the largest man-made park landscapes in Europe and following the English style of landscape composition, is counted among the most notable accomplishments of the European art of gardening. Located on over 720 hectares of both Poland and Germany territory, Mużakowski Park is one of Europe’s greatest garden compositions, entered on UNESCO World Heritage list.
