Built in 1907, the old railway bridge connected Łęknica with Bad Muskau. It has been repurposed as a walking and cycling route between the two towns. Under the bridge, you will find walking and cycling path along the banks of the Nysa Łużycka river. In 1945, the bridge was damaged in the fights between the Wehrmacht and the advancing Soviet Army. It was renovated in 1954, but regular railway traffic was never restored. After the liquidation of the railway from Łęknica to Raduszec Stary, the tracks were dismantled, the bridge underwent another renovation to adapt it for cycling and walking, thus creating a 37 km long cycling route from Bad Muskau through Łęknica, Trzebiel and Tuplice, to Brody.
