The filial church of St Stanislaus the Bishop in Koźminek belongs to the parish of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Opalewo and the Deanery in Świebodzin. The first wooden church was built there in the first half of the 18th Century, but burned down at the end of the 19th Century. The current masonry church was completed in 1925. After the reconstruction of 1928, the temple became an aiseless building with a triangular chancel and a steeple.
