The parish church of St John the Baptist in Zwierzyn belongs to the Deanery of Strzelce Krajeńskie. It was built in the first half of the 18th Century as a Protestant temple. In 1829 and in 1930 the half-timbered church underwent renovations. In 1946, it was consecrated as a Roman Catholic church and promoted to parish seat in 1975. In the years 1990–95, the temple underwent a comprehensive reconstruction.
