The castle in Pęzino is one of the best preserved residential fortifications in the Pomerania. The castle is located in the village of Pęzino, around 14 km east of Stargard, in the fork of the Krąpiel and Pęzinka rivers. Pęzino was purchased in 1382 from the Borck family by the Knights Hospitaller who built the castle. The castle was given by the Knights Hospitaller as fief to the Borck family, and eventually went to the Puttkamer family. After 1945, it was taken over by the State Agricultural Farm. Today, the castle is privately owned.
