Bell tower in Stawno

The bell tower is located on the courtyard of the church in Stawno. It has a 16th Century bell founded by Johan Karstede. The second bell was remelted in 1942. According to the local legend, the bell was seized by invading troops, but rolled off the cart and fell into the swamp which has been known as the Bell Swamp (Bagno Dzwonu) ever since.
