The ribbon lake with the area of 182 hectares is located within a Landscape Protection Area in the Drawa Forest. Its maximum depth is 42 metres, the lake is also connected to Lakes Słowa and Osiek. The lake basin is situated in a deep terrain depression and surrounded almost entirely by forest. The lake has steep shores and numerous coves. The crystalline water and spectacular location attract many tourists and enthusiasts of active leisure, such as sailing, kayaking and scuba-diving.
