In Szadzko, you can find the secured ruins of a 16th Century church which was partially destroyed in 1945 at the end of World War II. The historic interior decorations were moved to the church in Odargowo, but the temporary storage turned into permanent residence. In the church basement, there is a crypt of the Dewitz family who managed the castle on behalf of the Duke. There are plans for reconstructing the church. In the south-eastern corner you can find a natural monument - the 700-year-old St Otto’s lime tree.
