Built in 1968 in one of the historical tenement houses in the town square of Wschowa, the museum collects items related to the region, displaying various memorabilia from Wschowa and the neighbouring municipalities: Szlichtyngowa, Sława, Góra or Leszno. The museum has over 7,000 items in its collection.
