Beech - nature monument

The historic park in Kargowa, dominated by dwarf hornbeams, you can see Poland’s largest beech, which has more than 730 cm in circumference. Look for the cache inside the trunk. The park was established during the reign of Augustus II the Strong, who before being elected to the throne of Poland had been the Elector of Saxony and had had a residence in Kargowa. The park has a number of nature monuments.
