The exact date of construction of the church is unknown, but it can be found on every old map of Wschowa. The temple probably originates from the 13th century, but numerous reconstruction after fires have significantly altered its form. The oldest part of the church is most likely the gallery, where you can see the date “1580” and the town crest. In the side aisle in the southern section of the church, there is a painting of old Wschowa.
