The park is a link between Górczyna and Szlichtyngowa. Until 1960s, on the edge of the park there was the Palace of Szlichtyng family, reportedly demolished to obtain building material for the reconstruction of Warsaw. There are only the courtyard and a few buildings at the palace left today, adapted in 1980s by PGR Górczyna for office space, cold rooms for a nearby orchard, and piggeries.
