The oldest building of Gogolewo is a Late Gothic church from the 15th century. It was reconstructed several times. After it had been destroyed by fire during the Thirty Years' War (1643), it was provisionally renovated. A thorough reconstruction took place in 1827. The church was built of fieldstone mixed with brick as a aisleless building with a tower on the western side.
