The fieldstone and brick church was erected on a rectangular plan in the middle of the 15th century. Originally, the church did not have a tower, but finally in the 15th century it was added on the western side. The tower was made of stone and brick. The equipment of the church includes a church tabernacle, a harmonium, a baptismal font made of artificial stone, a wooden statue of St. John the Baptist and a statue of Moses. In the church there were late medieval wall paintings discovered in 1956 and then plastered and painted. There is also a gravestone of Bernet von Mildenitz and his wife Katharina von Schonening. The gravestone of 2.25 x 1.16 m was made if limestone in the 2nd half of the 16th century. The equipment also includes a brass, gold-plated cup from the beginning of the 20th century and a cast-iron bell of 1.14 m in diameter.
