The church in Lubiatów from 1400 was built of fieldstone and brick. In 1730-31 a wooden tower with a Baroque cupola was erected, but it was destroyed by a lightning strike in 1776. In 1854-55 the church was renovated and the tower was topped with a spire roof. After 1945 the devastated church was not in use and the tower was also demolished at that time. However, in 1974-82 the church was rebuilt, but without the tower. On its place a sacristy was erected in 1985-86.
