Around half a kilometre north east of Kołowo and 250 m west of the broadcasting towers, at the foot of Vixen Hill (Polish: Lisica), you can find three ponds called Vixen Ponds (Polish: Lisie Stawki). The largest is 130 m long. All three are gradually drying up, with the water table covered by a thick layer of duckweed.
