Places

The nature reserve in Ciemnik was established to protect the local headwaters with rare plant communities, and the local fauna. The reserve includes a group of headwaters which flow to the small lake named Chotom (or Dobrzanek) and from there as a single stream into Lake Krzemień. The outcrops of aquifers create unique headwater and marsh ecosystems.
