The history of the town of Szlichtyngowa is also the history of the Schlichting family. Throughout the ages, the town was also home to a large Jewish community. The Jewish cemetery is definitely worth a visit. Although over the years, numerous metal headstones were stolen, some still remain with inscriptions in German and Yiddish. In one of the corners of the cemetery, between the wall and the tree, there is a surprise waiting for you.
