The Carp Festival takes place each August in Osiecznica near Krosno Odrzańskie celebrates the local fishing traditions. During the festival, the local community members serve a variety of dishes prepared with carp, such as grilled carp, smoked carp, baked carp or carp soup. The wooden statue of the fisherman holds a fishing net and points to the place where the annual Carp Festival takes place on the second Saturday of August. Look for the cache behind the fisherman.
