Take a trip to the forest in the commune of Trzcińsko to see the thickest spruce in Poland. The tree is dead now, but it was still standing at the end of the 20th century. Even laying on the ground, its size does not fail to impress - unlike the spruces you normally encounter in the forests, this one has a staggering 1.5-m thick trunk.
